Hare coursing is the most natural way of regulating the hare population, not for regulating numbers but for the health of the speices, ie non survival of the weakest. Shooting is not selective and in the long term the speices will suffer, you have to be, so called, "cruel" to be kind.Exactly the same for foxes. Its not just for fun it has a purpous!

I have hares on my land and although i dont shoot them they are there as i control predators for game shooting, what about the land that is controlled solely for the taking of hares, the incentive will be gone along with the hares.
