Not everyone conforms to typecast city dwellers. Different popele live different lives and should have the freedom to choose exactly how to do this. Politicians should have NO say in this - does anyone interfere in their lives?
The argument that the increase in hare numbers is related to the ban during the last year is incorrect. The study into the status of the hare was carried out before the ban came into effect. Andela Smith's decision is simply based on personal prejudice and not on scientific fact.
Couring/Hunting Hares preserves a healthy population. Look at all the grounds where Coursing is held, e.g Waterloo Cup! Hares will be shot by farmers if coursing is banned, a ban will not benefit Hares. What ever happened to freedom of choice? No the only people who have choice in the British Isles are illegal immigrants!
Too much time is being spent banning things - Britain stands for freedom of choice - seems to be an ideal which labour 'dictators' are rapidly demolishing - this ban is only based on prejudice and narrow minded opinions.
