Iron Chef is incredibile! We need it on DVD. I would loyally buy them. But, to make matters worse, Food Network has stopped showing the episodes pon the usual evening time slot...we need this done!
I have searched long and hard for the Japanese episodes, but for not. I NEW I should have not deleted them from my DVR. Sorry but Flay and Batali are no match for my Kenichi and Sakai!
Definitely a buyer if it came on dvd. Screw Iron chef America! Foodnetwork seems to have canceled the original iron chef now and I dont know what to do every evening at 23:00

I support this petition. This is an AWESOME show - now I wish I would have "old school" taped all the episodes on VHS so I could at least have them to watch. Please put it on DVD for us to buy!
Iron Chef America is a poor imitation of this Japanese cult hit. Great cooking, great artistry, great drama, great humor, and great commentary. I WILL vote with my wallet if this series is bought out on DVD.
The Original Iron Chef was and is the best food show ever put on television. It is the very reason I have cable television (so I can have the Food Network). Please, Please, Please...put Iron Chef back on TV and/or consider putting all the episodes Food Network can secure rights to on DVD! There are many, many, devoted fans. It also deserves a better time slot. I know the show could hold its own if it was not aired at 11:00 pm or 3:00 am.
Iron Chef was one of the first shows I started to watch on a daily basis when I first got Food Network. Now that I hear that the show's been taken off the air and put on "hiatus", it's starting to make me worry a bit. It's a shame that it's being put into the vault...but I'd really like to see it back on the air. Please get this back up on the schedule!

Iron Chef has NEVER been available on DVD to my understanding, and a DVD release of all 300+ episodes of it (including the specials) would suit me fine even though I love 'Iron Chef America,' too. This is because I've had it with staying up till 12:00pm or later every night just to watch ICJ. With all the overrated reality-based, action-filled, and vulgarism-laden stuff out there on television that isn't what we see on the Discovery Channel and stuff like that I can still appreciate the fact that there ARE some good TV shows out there today.
The original Iron Chef has become a cult classic here in the United States and it would be most appreciated if ICJ went on DVD. It would be grand to be able to watch the series many years from now, even after TV networks stop showing ICJ. Thank you for your consideration regarding this matter.
I would pay GOOD MONEY for DVDs of Iron Chef Japanese. It is the best TV show since the 1960s' Twilight Zone. I would even pay for shows that have not been translated into English!
I can't believe that nobody's DONE this yet! If I had the backing, I'd do it myself. It seems that The Food Network is replacing it (Man, I hope NOT!) with some lame stuff; DVDs could be the only way to see it if that happens.
Iron chef is my nickname at work...It is a favorite show of mine and I can't get enough of it...I know that I probably haven't watched half of the series...so, I for sure support this...

Not only is Iron Chef exciting to watch as entertainment, it has provided countless basement-suite bachelors and packaged food slackers with the inspiration to rise above joyless, rote food-cramming and really get into food. Iron Chef deserves a legal, high-quality way to speak to the world.

I support this petition. The Japanese Iron Chef is amazing but the American version is a complete joke. Please put the original Iron Chef series out on DVD. I would be willing to drop a lot of money for a comlpete set.
