This should not go unpunished.Legal charges should be brought against the handler and their reputation forever ruined.Jag's death would not be in vain if it would prevent this from happening to another innocent animal!!!
It is sad that things like this happen so often that are preventable. Hopefully this will prevent another incident. My heart goes out to Jag's family.
I am so sorry for Jag's owners and the horrible fear he must have had in the end! Poor boy! I see dogs sitting on a table all the time at dog shows - and No One in sight near by. Jag will be the first thing I think about when I see it in the future
I'd prefer that a person be within 5-10 feet of the grooming table. How tragic that something like this has to happen, and worse that someone would try to cover it up!
Condolences to Jag's family.
Whomever caused the torture and murder of this wonderful animal should be prosecuted as if it had been a child.
My heartfelt condolences to Jag's family. We know he cannot be hurt any more now.
In the sport of pure bred dogs the wins, the power the prestige need to be forgotten. First foremost and forever the dogs come first, no matter what. They didn't ask to be here and we owe them nothing but the best.
Jag didn't get the best. It's time for AKC to step up and make sure Jag and so many other sweet spirits have not died in vain. Get these criminals out of our world!!!!! Go to the light sweet boy.
Disgusting. This lady should be banned from the AKC permanently because she didn't even have the honor to apologize for her mistake and return the corpse of a beloved dog to his owners! You have my deepest sympathies.
stupid is as stupid does...
restrict them from preforming at akc events but make them stand on a table with a grooming noose around their necks all day.
Condolences to Jags people!
Such a needless tragedy. These "professional " handlers are not professional and should lose any PHA or AKC licensing or recognition if the charges are true.
