People who would 1) leave the dog in a grooming noose should NOT be professional handlers 2) people who would lie about having done so should not only removed from the ranks of professional handlers and NEVER again allowed to show dogs, but also should be prosecuted.

I was so saddened when I heard of this story. To think how this lovely dog must have suffered. I feel so bad for his owners and breeders.

Penny Dawson said 08/01/05, 3:59 pm (verified)
We all know that there are people who breed and/or show dogs who do not care about the individual dogs themselves and are doing this for other reasons. We who do love dogs must protect the animals in every way we can from those who would be cruel or negligent.
