Animals despite what many people think feel pain. If we eat certain animals, they should be treated better. It would costs more money for them and the consumers though, so they do not so this. Therfore, there should be life in jail for animals cruelty. In many states, like Nevada, people do not care. There are worse crimes then kiling a dog; But we should sentence ANY form of animal abuse from kicking your cat for a while to death. People who are charged with animal only go to jail for two years, if they even get charged to go to jail. I support this petition 110%!

i think people that hurt animals are sick i think its evil and these animals have done nothing to diserve this. I HOPE ONE DAY THAT THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE KILLED ALL THESE ANIMALS DIE IN PAIN AND MISURY AND I WILL LAFF AT THEM. Animal cruelty is extremely disturbing. I have no idea and don't want to know what goes through peoples heads as the hurt animals. If animals are murdered for no reason at all it should be treated with the same response as when a person is murdered. You don't see anyone being fined 150 euro (or whatever currencey) for murdering a human being do you? So why just fine people for taking a life from an animal. People in france were only fined 5,000 when they were caught using live dogs as bait for sharks. I think they should be locked up for the rest of their pathetic lives. I really hope more action is taken. And for those of the people who signed this petition as a joke they're disgusting.-Roisin, dublin
