never heard of him till i bought 24 season 3. He put in a great performance i thought he was cool calm niave and cunning. And these are bonds attributes as well. I dunno how daniel craig got hold of the role being james bond... but i believe paul blackthorne should have it. The last bond film lost its originality hopefully (if he gets it) he can bring back some originality to the film. Till then his name to me will be stephen saunders the best actor playing a terrorist role in all seasons of 24
totally agree this man would be superb - Craig looks like he's falled out of dust bin - Blackthorne has class and looks as though he has served in the military
I know Paul as I used to cut his hair when he lived in london, he is an amazing guy who I believe will really make it big in Hollywood. I remember telling him he would make a great James Bond all those years ago remember Paul?!!! Goodluck my friend!

I agree with everyone here, I saw him in ER and 24 and immediately thought that he would be the perfect 007. He is a brilliant actor and has the perfect look and voice to carry it off.
he is convincing in his roles, he has charisma, he is ambitious and he has the ability, he is incredibly charming and dangerous as well, he’s perfectly British 4 this job as 007... and he takes my breath away. If he gets the jb, Paul Blackthorne inflames every1.

The way this man moves and speaks has James Bond all written all over it. Much moreso than Colin Farrell. Clive Owen would be good too but I think Paul is better

He's the best guy out there to play James Bond! He has everything an actor needs to play Bond: the accent,the looks, and the style. Paul is one of my favorite actors and I cant think of any one else that would be perfect for the part.
We were watching 24 and were convinced that this guy had ALREADY been in a Bond film. He is definitely a bond character material, and certainly ideal for the James Bond role himself!
It was obvious in the T.V. series "Medium", starring Patricia Arquette, Mr. Blackthorne is the first and only choice to play James Bond. I realize this is subjective, but rest assured, the majority, including myself, would profess, in the past, there is but one James Bond and his name is Sean Connery. After seeing Mr. Blackthorne for the first time in Medium, I say, without any reservation, there are only two James Bonds and they are Sean Connery AND Paul Blackthorne, hands down. MGM would be foolish to not pursue this actor for this role. He is James Bond.
