I just watched Paul on Dresden Files and kept thinking how much this guy looks like a young Sean Connery and how perfect he would be for the Bond role. Pierce was a good 007 (nd still would be), but Daniel Craig looks and acts more like a Russian Spy. Casino Royale just didn't seem like a Bond film to me and I still can't think of Craig as Bond. But Paul Blackthorne would be perfect as Bond.

Well.....what can I say, Paul Blackthorne, in every aspect, is the next 007, no doubt about that. He got the looks, the height, the voice, the acting ability--everything!! I really feel pity for the bond fans that they have to stand the "craggy" Daniel Craig instead of the suave Paul, as 007.

Paul Blackthorne is 007. I don't know why Daniel Craig got the part over Paul. Maybe he doesn't have the right agent, or it may be that in 24 he played an MI6 agent turned terrorist. Maybe Craig will be another one Bond wonder like George Lazenby, then maybe Paul will get another shot at it.
