When I came to Canada during the summer I saw the Murder Unveiled. It deeply touch my soul, it's wrong that her mother and uncle were so closed minded that they couldn't even respect the fact that she was in love. Times are changing, and love is love no matter what shape or form it may come in. She was atleast lucky enough to find true love. Her mother and uncle should be thrown in jail for what they did.
I watched this story on TV awhile ago and it is absolutely disguting how there is no respect for life, no regard for a woman to choose her own path in life and to be with whomever she loves. I hope justice will be served soon.
Everyone has rights and Canada is not a haven for criminials. Please prosecute these people and send a messaget to all that Canada is not and will not shelter murderers or any criminals.

are they waiting for another similar case to come up .. God forbid but this kind of deeds should be stopped and justice should be served! and the most Severe punishment should be given to the accused.
I watched the story on the 5th estate(I believe).Like you I was appalled that our government has done virtually nothing to bring these people to justice.
The law should be in force. No one is above the law, not families,gouvrnments, or the police.If her mom and uncle were behind this than they should be sliced and diced. My prays go to her family.
This is a tragedy and the fact that the guilty are free is disgusting... how can a mother and uncle... do this ... there is nothing else to say except death would be too good for these people ...

any parent who does this to their kid shud be killed themself for its cruel and plus it shows they care more for reputation then love of their own blood.
because I don't think anyone deserved to be killed because they loved someone, espcially not by there own parents. I am a Punjabi daughter to and i know how our parents think. I think everyone who would ever consider such a sin should get the message of how wrong it is through Jassi's parent's punishment. They deserve a death sentence for murder!
It's time something was done about this case! When law enforcement fails people start to take the law into their own hands and all goes awry. If the system wants respect it must WORK! Get this woman some justice NOW!
