I support this petition. I pity on RCMP for their inapt and negligence on this case. I am a US citzizen and I can be assured that if it were in the hand of the FBI, culprits would not have been roaming so freely in BC seven yeras after the murder. I am father of a daughter and no matter what, there should be no forgiveness for the murder of a daughter or a niece.
I support this petition. How can we sit back and not bring the real criminals to justice? Her own mother who is very much owned by men or a man in her own right. She allowed a man this girls uncle to destory this young girls life over her choice of a life partner. This can not be tolerated! Why are these people allowed to go free without being held responsible? What the hell is wrong with the Canadian police? Why is this man allowed to be free? Why is her mother not being held accountable?Shame on the Canadian government for allowing this to keep going on. Why oh why is this girls life not more valuable? That is a question we must keep asking is why is a woman life not more valuable? Come on RCMP wake up the whole world is watching you now!
I support this petition. Good luck! God bless! You may have to wait as long as some of the Holocaust victims to see justice done. You are dealing with a family who sees themselves as the "victims" and Jazzi as the "culprit". This stuff is more common than not.
I support this petition.
Shame on those who would hide honor killing behind spiritual principals. These crimes are driven by spiritual dogma in the name of male dominance and shame in loss of control. Face cannot be saved by faceless crime.
I support this petition. It always amazes me how inhumane man can be. Even animals do not kill their young. Any people, culture, race or religion that can rationalize murder in the name of religion should have their heads examined. Jassi's misfortune was to be born into an irrational family. It is a new day, it is 2009, it is time for all religions to formally and publicly denounce honour killings. This means from the Vatican to Mecca. And, individuals who engage in such acts should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, including Jassi's uncle. Come on RMCP, the world is watching!!!!

The story about this couple is terrible. That it continues for so long is a nightmare. But if the investigations will continue sincerely because of our signings herein, that will be encouraging.
I hope that Mithu can have assistance with his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as it is something he must see clearly still, now, and forever; especially considering the lengths to which Jazzi's family will go. Obviously, somehow, their pride is involved, and the shaming of that pride must be all consuming. How else could anyone go to such remedies?
I am signing this petition with the hope and prayer that my signature will have a profound effect toward positive resolution of all the particulars involved, so that justice will truly have occurred in this matter...
Hope this helps.

I support this petition. The Canadians need to really get a move on this case !!!! Shame on their delaying tactics, and excuses for not acting in a timely fashion. I wonder if this had been a rich, influential White woman, would they act faster ???
MORE POWER TO THOSE WHO WALK THE WALK OF TRUE BELIEFS, TO THEM WILL BE THE ETERNAL LIFE IN LOVE TOGETHER !!
I support this petition.
I think the parents should be locked up and the keys thrown away. It is so sad for parents to do such a horrible thing - I have a son and as I parent you protect your child no matter what even if it means ending your on life to save theirs.
I support this petition.
a real shameful act....how that mother is having peaceful sleep ?? and how is she managing to survive with the guilt?? come on , we are reaching foreign lands, going to moon , and our mind is still infilterated with such stupid boundaries of illogical conservative customs !!
The murder of Jassi and the incarceration of Mithu, initiated by her shameless uncle and mother, is a grim example of the moral bankruptcy of India’s feudal culture and the blatant irrationality of Canada’s collectivist laws. But the battle they lost can never be lost. That which she died to save can never perish. Through all the darkness, through all the shame of which men are capable, the spirit of Man will remain alive on this earth...It may wear chains, but it will break through. - Paraphrased from Ayn Rand’s Anthem
Giving birth doesn\'t make you a parent as shown by the actions of this so called mother. A parent\'s role is to nurture and protect their kids at all costs. May they all rot in hell for all eternity
There is not any lawful or good reason, with the proof before the RCMP, that the charges against Jassi\'s, so-called mother and uncle, and bringing them to justice should take this long. India did all the work for them and they still can\'t do their job...get off your asses and convict!
I think it is wrong when the family of this beautiful girl were the ones who betrayed her and didn\'t even have the balls to pick her body up and give her the proper burial that she deservered. if i could help bring these horrible people to jail then i feel i have done something good in my life.
Step up Canada bring Justice for Jassie. Her mother and uncle requested her killed and didn\'t and after she was dead left her dead in India alone. This was their flesh and blood. Don\'t let them get away with this. Do it now!
the canadian gov needs to extradite these horrble people namely the mother and uncle--how dare they order the killing of another human being---they need their own throats slit
I am outraged the Canadian\'s Police lack of concern in this case. I am american and always hear horror stories, but of all places- I thought Canada was on point!!!
