This petition is meant for all Long Islanders. We all know that in this 5th season of LI Ducks baseball we finally made it to the Playoffs, and won the Playoffs. I think that for the 2005 season Doug Jennings should become the manager of the Long Island Ducks, and that Don McCormack should be moved to manage the new team in Lancaster. We need someone who knows what they're doing, someone who all Long Islander's love and will come to the games just to see. If DJ becomes manager, there will definitely be a sell-out crowd each and every night, and more people would go to Bridgeport maybe even elsewhere, to see the Ducks play ball. If you agree that Doug Jennings, who has been with Long Island for 5 years, is a former major leaguer, and lives for baseball, should become the manager of the LI Ducks starting in 2005, please do sign this petition.
