I was one of the children collecting money for the JNF in the 40's in the blue and white pishkas! As an Israeli peace activist who witnessed the plight of the Palestinians for the past 60 years, and lived i a kibbutz whose fields were expropriated by the State of Israel, I am appalled by the racist bill passed by the israeli parliament which overturned an earlier rulling of the Israeli High Court that decreed against any racial discrimination in leasing the JNF's land . The new bill enables the state of israel to continue its decades-long dicriminatory practices against its Arab citizens which are reminiscent of Apartheid South Africa

I am a great admirer of the JNF, and its current progressive and fair policies. I oppose any interference with these policies, or move away from fairness toward *all* Israeli citizens.
As a Jewish person I find it amazing that I should be having to sign this petition to prevent a minority community being denied civil and human rights by a government representing a Jewish population.
