the man is a genius, and i would not only vote, but i would campaign furiously if given the opportunity. I think he should run, and as a third party candidate. He has a strong following, people love him, people love to hate him, and people love what he has to say.
Jon Stewart has the ability to see both points of view. He is respectful to his guest even if he does not agree. Lets be honest, where will we find a man with more integrity.
LOL! 46 signatures... Yes, quite the bandwagon.
This is ridiculous but in many ways, it makes a lot of sense.
So yes, I'd vote for Jon Stewart in the next election if he was running, which we all know he won't.
Jon is honest, unlike Bush who is getting away with murder and is lying to everyone.
We need to stop the fanatical religious organizations that are doing exactly what the Bible says they SHOULDN'T DO - get involved with politics.
Not only does the constitution of this country clearly shows that Church and State shouldn't get mixed up, THE BIBLE DOES TOO.
Christians in this country are a bunch of fanatical hypocrites, trying to impose their fanatical beliefs on everyone.
The Democrats have to do something about this, and they better do it soon.
FUCKIN A!!! Jon Stewart is THE MAN and he is so friggin sexy!! He is very beastily sexy indeed!! I love you Jon Stewart and I am going to steal you away hehe Just Kidding but you WILL BE a KICK ASS PRESIDENT OF 2008!!! ROCK THE FUCK ON!!!! BOOYAH
We're in Academia, not Politics, and everyone in Project AMISH loves Jon Stewart!
I'll be referencing America: The Book in my own works sooner or later.
Olé olé!
Jon, if you are elected commander in chief, you will crip walk all over the white house and not even think twice about it. Don't ever change. You are one of the few honest figures in politics whom seem to abide to what some call “morals”. Be our leader. We listen to you. We love you. We need you. If not for us.. then, hey Jon, do it for the kids. I vouch to campaign relentlessly in the research triangle of NC. There are millions of others dispersed throughout the country who share my sentiments. DO IT PLEASE.
!!!STEWART/EDWARDS 2008!!!
I've had enough of politicians feeding me bull**** and leaving me in the dark (what am I, a mushroom?)
Eh, at least Jon Stewart would let me know he was feeding me bull****. (Is "Honest Bull****" an oxymoron? I think we might have a campaign slogan)
jon stewart kicks ass, man. and i think bush is a moron, and i don't trust kerry to keep his promises, and nader's just completely senile now. what difference does it make anyway? we're destroying our planet, and our world political system is in complete chaos. Besides, i'm only 18, i'm supposed to be apathetic, and ignorant, and i shouldn't care about the political system anyway, so why vote at all? Seriously, though, I don't have much faith in the American political system, or in any political system; it's really pathetic how something that is supposed to be held in such high esteem, and something that is supposed to uphold our ideals, and our integrity, (our gov't) has become so corrupt. It's disheartening, and I understand why most people don't care, hell, i'd go surfing too, rather than sit through hours of "news" trying to figure what's real; and i think that's part of what makes the daily show so powerful. People understand it, and it seems to rebel against the current cycle of deception and lies. I'm rambling, so I'll end now, i'm not really even sure what I've said, but oh well. Jon '04!
Being a public librarian I have many reasons for supporting the fake-candidacy of Jon Stewart. The number one reason being that there is just too darn much real information out there about too many darn things. I feel, Jon, can help us reduce all these facts and figures into simple untrue 'factoids'. Things that can be easily forgotten and dumbed down...
