The purpose of this petition is to let our Village Council Members know that we oppose the creation of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) designation for the Sonesta Redevelopment Project. We urge the council to maintain the property's current HR (hotel resort) status. By maintaning our current zoning laws, the developers wil be unable to build six 15-story towers on the old Sonesta Hotel site and will be limited to a structure which meets Key Biscayne's current zoning laws.
