Goal Met!
We the undersigned would like to eat dinner in peace. We would enthusiastically support restaurants that offered child-free seating.

We are not anti-family values, or anti-children. We acknowledge that most children (certainly _your_ children ;) are well-behaved angels. However, sitting next to a child who has not been taught how to behave in a public place can easily ruin an entire evening.

We understand that familes are an important market force, but we think that the wishes of child-free patrons could be respected without detracting from your share of the family market. A restaurant could easily offer a section of child-free seating, whether implicitly or explicitly. This is an easily-implemented solution that would please all parties, and it would cost you nothing. We would gladly patronize restaurants with such a policy.

I would even be happy to pay a premium just to be guaranteed a meal free of interruptions from ignored and/or poorly behaved children. I should have the same right to a peaceful meal in a restaurant as people with children.

I work hard for my dollar, thank you. When I am off duty, I do not have to suffer, yes suffer, from individuals who are disturbing the peace no matter what age. As a person who has decided to bring a child into the world, a parent IS responsible for the actions of their minor children. It does NOT take a village to raise a child. I chose not to have children and therefore, I should not have to babysit others' while I'm on my precious time off with my husband. I don't smoke but I'd rather sit in a smoking section than next to unruly brats.

My wife and I enjoy dining out but despise behaviour that disrupts the entire establishment. We don't drop $50 (not including tip) just to listen to incessant whining and screaming. It would be a dream come true to see childfree sections at restaurants.

please do this!! I hate paying $50 at a restaurant for the privilege of hearing someone else's child scream.

I watched as a mom changed her kids' poopy diaper on a public restaurant table the other day! I kid you not! Make a child free section so that parents can eat off of their own shitty tables.

This would be great for theatres, too! I'd love to see a film without hearing infants cry and small children run up and down aisles throughout the entire production. If certain times could be reserved for adults only I would be ecstatic :)
