I disagree. I dunno the child labour laws in the US, or wherever you're from, but just think about it... Would you go to a restaurant and order a meal from a 12 yr old? Would you depend on a 12 yr old for sorting your financial papers and other important documents? AS a 12 yr old, think.. how long would it take before you would quit if you didn't like the job or realized you liked it better going out and playing with your friends? If I were a boss, of even a small corner store, I wouldn't except people under 16, why? Because under 16, you don't know algebra, accounting or whatever math needed, you would need help to reach high shelves and to carry loads of flower or sugar, you guys havn't even hit puperty yet, what the ****. You're not ready for "real" jobs. So sit down, shut up, and concentrate on your schooling and social habits lil' punks.

I think 12 year olds need a new way to make money other than babysitting and stuff like that. I mean some kids have to earn money for their own summer camps and things they want to do. That is why i think 12 year olds shouls be able to have jobs.

I think we should change the law to let people 12 and older to work. We need money too!!! we want to go but clothes or a new video and our parents dont have any money for us and we surely dont have any money because we dont have a job to get any. All the way! Alot of us are sitting broke with no more that $100 in our pockets, and that really sucks. Because then you're sitting there with your life's allowance of like 10$ a week or month or whatever. and you don't even have half enough for the guitar in the window. or not quite enough for the laptop you wanted. And a job is supposed to keep us occupied so we don't have to live with all of our parents screaming "GET OFF THE COMPUTER!!" constanly. All the way man, all the way.

i think it will be great if children under 14 could have a job i do the messengers and i am soooo sick and tiered of it i wish i worked at maccas or somthing they get more pay and more hours

Ok, look, all I want is a bit of cash. Is that so much to ask for? I'm not going to curse or anything liek the others, but I'd aprreciate it if I could work at the local Shopping Bag or GameStop. All I wish is for jobs to be open to ages 10+. Besides, most of us may be rapping morons driven by sugar and our opposite genders, but when it comes down to it we can handle a little more responability on our own. I can't live off of 6$ a week for taking out the trash 5-6 times a week, and our family is one of 6, 7 if you include our cat, and I don't exactly think that hulling 2-3 trash cans every 2 days is worth it, and on sundays it gets worse because of recyling bins and heavy newspaper bags. My point is we can handle a REAL job because most of us need the money, for self or selfless purposes, and I don't feel like mowing the lawn or anything for only 4$. That is all.
