This should change! I'm a 12-year-old who wants a laptop, tablet, digital camera, Ipod, and scanner and how the heck am I gonna get those things? Babysitting? I don't think so! You ask for chores (don't really ask, though XD lol) and ask for money afterwards, but they're like: no, it's your house. keep it clean....I'd love to work at a HYVEE or a pet place. That'd be fun and I'd make money! Adults think we're just kids, but we are smart and very responsible! Parents are always like: You'll get that for CHristmas or your b-day or something! I don't have enough money to buy my friends X-mas and b-day presents!

I mean, now that taxes are going up, and pay saying the same, parents dont have alot of money to give children for small things that they want. So I agree that 12 year olds, should get some jobs. I think it is great for 12 year olds to have a job. You wouldn't go and like make a 12 year old a lawyer you would just like make them work at petland for some extra cash. It also teaches them to be responsible and it can give them experiance for the future.

I like this petition for the babysitting but not a real job! Thats crazy! Maybe if you like wanted to HELP your mom at the store or something but not acually work, I do like the babysitting though Its not that hard but taking care of a job...thats hard.

If 12ys worked, our nations work force would be surged with little kids who are stupied enough to work for miminuim wage. Than all older persons would lose their job because employers are greedy bastards, and so our economy would be destroyed, and millions would be jobless and poor. A catastrophic repeat of the Great Depression would insue, as well as choas and mass panic. Except unlike the last Great Depression, the entire world would be evan more effected, and possible war and internatinal riots may be started, and the little 12 year old work force would be no longer nesseary, since the world has been lost to fear.
