I want to get a real job as a programmer or somethin so that I could at least save up for the stuff I want. Anyways, if I start now, then i'll have more experience in this field.
why, we all want to make some money to why do u have to be just 14 to actually need the money we want some new stuff too.we are tired of those lemonade stands and mowwing lawns WE WANT TO WORK

i'm only elven and belive it or not i ask for chores and i get no money when i do them. i would do things on my street but i live in a bad part of town
I support this 100% Im so sick of trying to sell drinks on the side of the road like 5 year olds! I got a cell phone and i have to pay the monthly fees! about 60$ a month! and i need at least 15$ a week! come on! sign this petition!
i totally agree i need cash and every time i need money i cant get it frome my parents or every time i go shopping wth my friends of i go to the srore with my parents they wont bye me what i want well some times they do but only sometimes .....im only 12 and i need some more money to go to the mall with than only $20 when i go to the mall with my friends with only $20 that not enogh to buy all of the things that i want i mean come on !!!!!!!!!
I agree with this even more than 14 year olds getting a job! I'm 12, and I completely agree. I know plenty of kids mature enough to get a good job besides mowing the lawn. I don't even get paid allowance, and my parents want me to buy my own things. HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO DO THAT?! If 12 year olds could get a job, then we could pay for our own things, not have to beg our parents for them.
i am so tired of not being able to get all the fancy stuff every 1 i no are so spoiled there mom just buys them stuff me i have to work and sum times cleaning cars and mowing the lawn gets a little bit boring and i dont get paid alot i want to work get paid!!
i think we should be aloud to work that's only if you be good in school meaning the naughty students shouldn't work cause they will end up doing something bad with the money so good well behaved children should be allowed to work meaning when you go out for work you show the boss your c.v to see how well you have been doing so the same with kids if you have been doing well then i think we should be allowed to work
I think that all of kids at the age 12 and over should have a job. I am 12 turning 13 June 7th and I want a job. I want money to get myself and friends things but I can't do that because stores and other places don't think 12 and 13 and 14 year olds should be allowed to have jobs. It's unfair to us kids. And also it might be something we like and give us something to do that we might stick with our whole life. I think it is right for kids 12 and over to have a job.

I'm 11. I keep looking at the all the awesome phones, laptops, toys, etc. that I really want, but can't have, beacuse I can't even get a job at a freakin minimart. I NEED CASH PEOPLE. I'm so sick of walking around without some green in my pocket. Why is it that I can't geta paycheck like all the adults? Does The Govenment hate pre teens?
