im 12 and i sucks babysitting and staying inside all summer long. i hate it so much.. grr.. so they should lower the age ranges for like mcdonalds, subway, pizza hut, and other places and EVERYWHERE! WE NEED JOBS.. maybe that the only way they can support there family and there young ? just think about it

i really want a job. I need one, I am in charge of buying everything for my dog and now that my family is leaving on vacation I have to pay dog sitting which is about $600. Since we can\'t work I have to find ways to raise the money. I find it really unfair that we just have the options of moving lawn or babysitting. We should get the opportunity to show others how responsible and mature we can really be.
I have to definatley agree. I believe when you reach 12 years old that you become mature and more responsible. You are ready to take on a new obstacle in life and that\'s to make some money and get a job. Some of the reason of why 12 year olds can\'t get jobs is that right now the economy is suffering so even older people can\'t get real jobs. The other thing is that your 12 and yopu should try to enjoy your childhood...that\'s what some people say and I think having a job would be really fun! A 12 year old should definitely have a job because his or her parents can not always financially support their child, but if that child had a job there wouldn\'t be a problem. A 12 year old is still an adolescent and need to be enjoy these years because before you know it, they will be over. With the money from the job the average 12 year old could be able to have fun. I am 12 and would love to buy things on my own with my own money.
