i want a job i have to vacum clean the whole house 3times a week for 10 pounds and its unfair! i want a proper job im 12 and im old enough 2 know what 2 do!!!!!
i need a job because Im the eldest and my perants divorced and my mum is knowned as a "criminal" for 10 years and that means my mum cant work or earn money. Why is my mum punished for too long?? my dad ran away. I mean the witnesses in the court didnt support my mum very much as much as i did i mean i was good( the lawyer, judge and my aunty said i was the best)but not good enough. Im in a public school but mum wants me to go to a private high school in the next to years but it is predicted unlikely because we are not wealthy and i have a sister and a brother. tears are flowing down my cheeks now, i cant tell you the rest. I DESPRATELY NEED A JOB BECAUSE Im MY MUMS ONLY HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im against this petition because 12 yrs is not enough time for a person to mature so that he or she realizes job ethics especially seeing that you guys are in the 6th grade. there is so much for you guys to learn in SCHOOL. i know i was once 12 but now 15

Well, MOST 12 year olds and myself HAVE found a way to earn some money, and that is to have a job. The least we could do is work at a fast food place. Adults think we are to young, but we're not! We have as much right as an adult to have a job, and it would be for the same reason. Just to earn some cash for a small labor. And for me, it's not just for the money. it's for something to do. I support this petition. I try to make some money but its hard for kids to do that. I dont want to wait. Plus the government just decided for me weather I want to work or not. And I do. I think that kids should be able to have a job but probally 11 or older. They should let kids decide what they want to do!
