We should have jobs because many of us our educated and can probably do jobs better than other older adults because of our energy! We also need the money because parents these days dont just hand out money unless ur really rich which im not, i need to hang with friends. LAstly it could prepare us for the future because we would be experienced! GO 12 year old ppl! woo
I support this petition because I think that we should as 12 year olds have jobs. We need to earn money for things that we want to do. And not all parents give 20 dollars a week to their kids for allowance. I want to get enough money to buy a cellphone and some minutes.

believe me it is really hard and the things like babysitting and washing cars and house sitting and pet sitting come up there not bad but my mother would never trust me with someones child nore there house and iam alergic to anything with fur and washing cars my mother still woudnt trust me with a car .and i need money for martial arts and other things and i really need money for personal things so and i think in every community that we should have a job center for kids for simle jobs that we can good i mean thats the least they can do

I need to get a job! I don't get allowance and no matter how much I ask my parents for allowance they say "when you need money we give it to you" well I like having money first of all just knowing that I have the money I need myself would be amazing. Also my parents don't give me money when I need it I want to buy a video camcorder and they won't give me the money. The only way I can get money is birthdays and christmas. Having a job would mean that I could get the things I want myslef!

Its a great idea and i supremely agree with this petition. and i also want to speak to the singers about the force to work by parents and i think it should be 12 and up its true parents can force kids to work but its a good exsperiance and also its crazy to think that everyones child has to work i mean if we earn money we can save more invest more and be trying early to be finacialy secure its just what every kid would want to do and we could be part of the working comunity its a very sensible thing to do and we could do a great job kids can probaly do better work than some adults amazingly you think its a joke i sincerly think you should reconsider your decision thank you becky. It's unfair and not right. Parents moan when we want something then moan when we demand money for doing chores then moan when we want a job. kids under 14 should be able to get a job!
i need money to go hang out with my friends. now that i have a ceel phone im out more often b/c i can stay in contact with my parents. imagine how much more often i would be out w/ my friends if i actually had a steady pay?
