Not a single person who has signed this petition has made any valid points as to why the French are an inferior race.
They might have made have blunders historically, but seeing as how Americans have done thins a couple million times worse (anyone here seen the movie Farenheight 9/11?), I don't think Americans are really in a position to speak.
And what do you care what French people eat? Yes, the idea of snails may sound rather sickening, but seeing as how some races eat birds (not to mention parts of Africa where cannibuls make up the majority of the population), it's not as bad as it could be. And anyway, the only reason why it seems to sick to us is because it's not something we're exposed to as much. Indians think that eating cows is sick, but most Americans eat or have eaten sausages.
As for the smoking and drinking - that's not unique to France. It's like that in pretty much all of Europe, it's a cultural custom there. And again, Americans aren't in a position to speak because Americans smoke more pot and crack and weed than any other nation in the world.
