nirvana are a great band and everyone knows and loves there lyrics. the guitar riffs were insane and the drum beats rad. i love nirvana but whoever says that they were the last great band to play music is a fucken idiot. dont get me wrong i love nirvana there easily my favourite band but there are soo many good bands around at the moment and there's alot of local bands here in Adelaide Australia that rock out just as hard. there will never be a band to rerplace nirvana but u guys need to move on.

sorry, but there have been a lot of everlasting bands since Nirvana. Nirvana are legend in part of Cobain eating a shell. The last greatest band though? come on. what do you think Oasis are? The Verve? Pulp? Elastica? Radiohead? Coldplay? I'd say there have been a lot of great bands since Nirvana, and a damn lot of up and comers too.

Nirvana is in my opinion was the last greatest band in the history of music. Their songs had a long forgotten concept called MEANING behind their songs. I ask you, what "meaning" is behind a Simple Plan song or a Good Charlotte song? Nothing. I know you SP andGC fans are going to be confused about this but unlike SP and GC, Nirvana was about the music and not the money. Yes they made a lot of money but they didnt make them forget what they are about. The you have GC and SP who bend over for any deal involving money. If Kurt did indeed shoot himself, it was to not become what GC and SP are - and that is corporate money makers who dont care about the music. If he was murdered - its obvious someone knew the financial benefits they would gain from doing so. Nirvana will be the greatest band for a long time, that is untill corporate created bands like GC and SP get lost and make way for bands who are in it for the music.
