This petition is for Kim Gutman, a great friend, hardworking student, and compassionate person, that has been under the unfortunate circumstance of falling short on one section of her MCATs. Over the years Kim has worked hard at school and at life, being in numerous organizations and research for the past two years. Kim deserves a chance at finishing out her dream; she has not only the mind for the task, but also the drive and determination. Everybody hits road blocks in their life, at those points it is important that us as friends and peers strive to support our peers. Kim Gutman has more than what it takes to make it in medical school and deserves promotion to Phase II at NEOUCOM.

M1. I have known Kim for 3 years. She is an extremely hardworking person who studies very hard and has what it takes to be a great physician. I know that if given the chance, she will excel at medical school.

Not only have I had the pleasure of being in classes with Kim but I have also had the pleasure of knowing her. It’s because of these experiences that I feel that I’m qualified to say that she is a wonderful intelligent girl who will become a great doctor regardless of NEOUCOM’s decision. However, it would be in NEOUCOM’s best interest to accept her into her M1 year. Kim exemplifies all the qualities that a great doctor should possess. She’s hard working, intelligent, passionate and above all driven.

A winner is not one who never fails but one who never quits. It is indeed this attitude Kim has towards all her endeavours. In times of adversity she is able to accept her weaknesses and learn from them, always demonstrating qualities of determination, dedication and enthusiasm towards her goals. Thus, she will prove herself if accepted into medical school what an exemplary doctor she shall become.
