It has recently come to our attention that a petition was signed to change the Superman mythos as far as Smallville is concerned to include Lana as a permanent part of Clark's/Superman's future life, up to, and including, having Clark potentially marry Lana.

We the undersigned feel that in fact this is not something we want to see on the Smallville show, and would prefer, if Lana is not to be left outright, that she be killed before the end of the series. It is not that we feel ill will towards the actress that has put much time and effort into the role, but more a case that we no longer like the entire relationship of Lana and Clark as portrayed in the Smallville Show.
