Damn rights I support this petition. Not only due to my career in performance parts with the likes of Mopac or the recent move over to TCS Performance locally in LANGLEY. Born & raised in Eastvan, I still remember the familiar voice on the tv ads for ACTION Raceway aka:(Langley Speedway)"take the 200th street exit south off Highway 1". I'm not a golfer, but there is an abudence of real estate devoted to that sport, as well as others which I don't object. NEWSFLASH!!!! North America's #1 spectator sport is, MOTORSPORT! It should not of been closed.(PERIOD). We have already lost the Molsen Indy race,NBA Grizzlies, Canadians Baseball, recently Langley Hornets junior hockey...the list goes on. Lets start some "BACK IN THE DAY"..memories for our kids. As I took them down last summer, the infield was recently moved and track still in decent shape. I recall attending the last car show there on a Sunday..seems like yesterday...but 2 decades have past already. Let's not wait any longer.
