It is an undeniable fact that lacrosse is spreading across the United States of America at an unprecedented rate. In fact, it has been cited time and time again as the fastest growing sport in the nation. According to US Lacrosse, the latest estimates suggest that there are approximately 300,000 active men’s and women’s players, at all levels, throughout the country, with that number rising steadily everyday as more and more teams and clubs start up. And that number is solely players - there is also a growing spectator fanbase, both in the United States and internationally.
Therefore, it is the belief of the undersigned that the decision to make a multi-platform video game simulating NCAA Field Lacrosse would be a very wise one, and the game would likely sell well, considering the growing number of lacrosse players and fans in the USA.
The decision to make the game simulating NCAA play rather than Major League Lacrosse or National Lacrosse League would be beneficial to both the consumer and you, the producer. By using NCAA teams and fields, you have a large number of playable teams, compared to the 13 NLL teams or the 10 in the MLL. Furthermore, by choosing to base the game on NCAA rules, you are simulating true Field Lacrosse, which is what many of today's growing number of players are accustomed to.
In conclusion, the undersigned firmly believe that you should seriously consider adding an NCAA Lacrosse video game to your EA Sports line, for not only would it prove a popular seller amongst the growing number of lacrosse players and fans, but it'd allow you as a company to benefit from the growth as well.
