I am an ex-Marine and recently got out of the military. I truly believe that we made a mistake invading Iraq. Yes, we did a great thing by ousting Saddam, but the fact is that we've only shown that we are rather incompetant by our failing occupation of that country. We've lost more Americans since the fighting stopped. The Iraqis do not want us there, so let's just leave the savages to their own devices, or at least hand the reins over to the U.N. and bring out people home. Why should they, many of whom are my friends, sacrifice their lives any longer for a country that doesn't even want our help? Admit you made a mistake Mr. Bush and bring our people home.

And for those of you who may be thinking that I'm saying we should abandon the country to a Taliban/Al Queda rule, you need to read the above paragraph again. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that these people do not want us there and will continue to kill more and more Americans just to prove their point. I think it would just be better to hands the reins of the rebuilding to the U.N. I'm sure that the needless killings will not cease.

Look, we went into this thing with the right intentions, but the plan was not properly thought out and now American soldiers, and, like I said, several of my friends, have paid the price for this administration's lack of foresight and stubborn attitude towards accepting help with their lives.

If you don't like what I'm saying here, I apologize, but I won't change my opinion. And attacks against my opinion and intellect (and you know who you are) or that of any other person on this site are completely unwarranted and against the spirit of the site.

Our soldiers deserve much more than to be left in a country they should never have been sent to in the first place, fighting a war that had no basis what so ever. If someone is willing to give their life for your freedom, don\'t you think you should be very, very, very careful when you ask them to do so? I am ashamed of my country for doing this to our honorable military women and men. I thank our soldiers for being willing to give their lives for me, someone they have never met, but now I ask that you not risk your lives for me for one more minute. Please refuse to fight. If you would all do so, we would move in to a very different world. Again, I appreciate your willingness to sacrifice yourself for my freedom, but I ask that you do not do so. I will fight for my own freedom if need be. Aloha

Dr. Justin A. Frank (M.D.) is the “Director of Psychiatry” at George Washington University and a “Professor of Psychiatry” at George Washington University Medical School. In the highly informative book of Dr. Justin A. Frank, “Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President,” Dr. Frank, a renowned psychiatrist, indicates that George W. Bush is mentally ill. Dr. Justin Frank has diagnosed Bush with megalomania. In addition, Dr. Justin Frank indicates that Bush suffers from an “obscure delusional system” that drives his behavior. Furthermore, Dr. Justin Frank indicates that Bush suffers from (a) paranoia; (b) denial; (c) protective delusions; (d) schizophrenia-like problems or schizophrenia; (e) ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder); (f) learning disabilities; and (g) pathologically blaming others and not accepting responsibility for his actions. Dr. Justin Frank wisely indicates that the sole treatment plan—for Bush’s benefit and the public’s benefit—is to remove President Bush from office. Dr. Justin Frank’s professional diagnoses relating to George W. Bush are useful in explaining Bush’s catastrophic behavioral problems in the course of his presidency. Surely, the conduct of Bush while president of the United States is the result of either mental retardation or mental illness. Mental retardation can be ruled out due to the complexity of Bush’s words and conduct. This leaves the American people with only one plausible conclusion: Bush is a severely mentally ill individual. Dr. Justin Frank is forthcoming, effective, and brilliant in his analysis of Bush’s terribly diseased state of mind. I would unconditionally recommend everyone to learn from Dr. Justin Frank’s bestselling book, “Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President.” Submitted by Andrew Yu-Jen Wang B.S., Summa Cum Laude, 1996 Messiah College, Grantham, PA Lower Merion High School, Ardmore, PA, 1993

This war is one of the most horrible things that I've seen and heard.I know I have no idea the hell that the soliders and their loved ones are going through. However, a small part of their pain has reached me.One of the best friends has a brother in Iraq and I know she would do absolutely anything to have him home again and to have this war over.I hope it will end one day.

I know that I am only 12 years old, but my brother is in Iraq right now. Just the thought of what might happen to him brings tears to my eyes. To the others that sign this petition, think about this: This war may go on forever. You can never know when it's going to stop or how it is going to be stopped. All I'm saying is please sign this petition! you could be saving so many lives from being destroyed by the losses of loved ones.

bringing our troops home is not anti-american!!!true they weren't made to join but most of this kids went in the service trying to better them selfs because most are from blue collar or poor hard working families not from rich white collar families.maybe the people who agree with the president so whole heartedly should join or have their children join this war that is costing us our children.to show support mr.bushes maybe your twin daughters could join the arm forces.that would show alot of people how important you feel this war is!!!!!they don't want us there,is there something mr.bush isn't telling us!!!!!

I do not support this petition. Tired of seeing ten thousand of these every time I log on. Keep it to the main petition and try not to get your Rednecks over the rest of the site.
