Marijuana is used by 68 % of americans ages 16+ and there are too many citizens getting arrested for possesion, i on the other hand do not smoke weed or associate with it but however looking at the fact that people sometimes get killed over weed it can show a decrease in crime rate by more than 12 % and it will eliminate people losing jobs because of failing the drug test to marijuana and can actually improve the economy with more people working instead in prison for possesion, marijuana is shown to mellow people out and calm them down, sorta like a tranquilizer, and it has not killed anyone, people get killed for it. look at alcohol for example, alcohol kills if you overuse it and can cause liver and kidney failure and its been proven that marijuana has less fatal casualties than alcohol a year. age limits to use the drug should be set because we dont need 11 and 12 year olds taking the drug even though there are probably some smoking right now somewhere in america and thats another thing.... marijuana has led to the influence of teenagers and even below that and kids involved with gangs play important roles in drug business. so in order to save lives and improve americas social standards and economy i promote the legalization of marijuana
