For the past three years, Leslie Cook, has maintained and participated in the Summer Undergrate Research Program. Proceeding the completion of Summer I Session, it was pronouced that the lab assistant position would not need to be fulfill due to the lack of demand for the job. However, the vast knowledge and expierence of Leslie Cook, is highly essential to the attainment of goals set forth in participating in this program.

We, the undergradutates and professors, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the possibility of Leslie (lab assistant) not returning for Summer Session II. We, the undersigned, feel that not only is she essential and vital to successful continuation of the summer term, but is cherished by the undergratuates , professors, of the Schoars Academy Research Program.

We, the undersigned, are petitiong for endurance of Leslie Cook during the course of the remaining Summer Session. If this petition does not sway the Scholars Academy Director, we will accept the decision handed down, but please take our plea into consideration.
