Gravel's points are well considered and reflect a vast majority of the voter's concerns. I'd be concerned about American democracy if the most distinguished and outspoken candidate is barred from participating in the Oct. 30th debates? What are you people doing to your country?
Unlike the candidates who get coached by consultants and deliver sound bites, Mike Gravel speaks his mind and what he believes is right. Please do not shut him up!
I strongly believe that anyone who is an official candidate for the office of the President should be afforded the opportunity to debate the other candidates.
It is so typical of the mainstream media, and the warmongering Hillary Clinton, who is probably behind this attempt to prevent MIke Gravel from raising any more embarassing questions about Hillary and her attempt to demonise Iran to prepare for another war. She has received tons of money from the defence contractors
Obviously there need to be criteria by which candidates are chosen for debates, lets 400 people appear on stage together. However, I feel the current rules are being applied arbitrarily and with far too little notice.
Gravel speaks the truth that is necessary for a real debate. If you want to see a series of campaign speeches, exclude him. If you want to see candidates actually confront real issues, you must include him.
Time and Time again, corporate America will do everything they can to hold the truth...Washigton has already picked their candidates, but American wants to chose ours....LET ALL CANDIDATES VOICE BE HEARD!
Let Mike Gravel participate in the Oct 30 debate...Only Gravel asks the necessary questions and gives the wholly honest answers. Without him, the debate becomes a PR event, nothing more. Do not censor Gravel!
How can a public broadcasting company like NBC be closed minded to not invite Mike Gravel at the debate. Shame on NBC!! Let Mike Gravel debate and show that he is the best candidate for President!
What Gravel has to say is every bit as important as anything Hillary, Obama, Biden, Edwards and the others have to say! Do not surpress free speech. NBC of all entities should know better!
I sick to death of corporate america putting their picks into the White House. They own the media, they own the voting machines, tyhey count the votes MAYBE, America has become a real Dictatorship. Sen Gravel is the Candidate that reminds me of the Democracy we lost. Is that why you don't want him in this next corporate run, owned and scripted debate. They are doing the very same thing to Rep Ron Paul. It;s a damn disgrace. Hang your heads in shame for giving legitamacy to this democracy ruse.
Senator Gravel is a refreshing and HONEST voice amidst so many canned sound bytes. Please don't limit the voting public's options which are already so drastically reduced by the money issue alone. I deplore the
Money should never be anissue. This entire electionhas been focused on this. The question is why.And why should we consideronly fundraisers as valuable candidates
The public is sick and tired of a media run by politics and coporate bank roles. Do your job. Report the truth, and equally extend media coverage to every candidate.
Mike Gravel's voice is the only one worth listening to out of the Democratic candidates. I had hope for Kucinich, but now if Gravel's out, I will just look to the Green Party for leadership.
We need Mike Gravel's voice to be apart of this continuing debate and keep the conversation on the issues that affect the working men and women of this country.
I am ready to quit voting. We have a Democracy that is for sale to the highest bidder. I should say a dictatorship, for that's what it is becomming. The US is headed for a fall like the Roman Empire!
it is far too early to in the race for the party nominations to be elliminating potential candidates from the nationally televised debates. it is also a wrong to use the amount of money raised by a candidate as a stipulation for partisipation in an open exchange of ideas.
