EVERY candidate should be allowed to participate in EVERY debate if they so choose. We have not yet made a decision on who we are supporting in the upcoming election, but we demand the right to hear the views of ALL of the candidates!
Dear NBC/GE,Could it be you have something to hide? Given your position as a military contractor, you have a great responsibility to your viewers to present the news with impartiality. Do the right thing.
Corporations are not eligible to vote, so they want to run our elections, make demands of the media, and keep the war machine running to enrich the giant military-industrial complex.
As one of 2 viable candidates(Kucinich is the other) Mike Gravel must be included in all debates. He is the only one who speaks the truth and points out the fallibilities of the other candidates. If Gravel is excluded from the debates then Freedom itself will have died in this land.
GE: stop perverting the democratic process---you are NOT people. Turn your management loose for honest reportage and fair programming. Gravel is vital to the debates.
Why not include Mike Gravel in the debate! He should be given the opportunity to participate....I believe we will learn something significant to our well being!
The greed in this country is appalling.Since when is money more inportant than a very good man?Oh, I forgot.I live in the usa.Note the small letters.Let Mike in these debates!
Mike Gravel should be allowed to speak at the debate. Because he does not accept money from special interest groups, he is not afraid to identify the real problems. He then gives real life solutions (which many people don't want to hear) instead of giving a feel-good fluff answer or completely dodging the question. If you have any doubt about this watch one debate. Gravel answers like no politician you have heard...and he can do this because he is not in bed with the enemy. Lastly, THIS IS AMERICA, LET HIM SPEAK!
Something as serious as a Presidential Debate demands serious candidates -- agreed. Mike Gravel has a much experience in government as anyone running. Stop letting the corporations dictate our political process. Let Mike speak!
With all due respect, using fundraising as a benchmark forparticipation in debates perpetuates the issue of money in politics. What is the justification for linking funds raised to participation ina public forum? Unlike other candidates, Mike Gravel doesn't andrefuses to beg for money and give the implicit quid pro quo associatedwith it. So he has less cash in the bank (I believe he just receivedfederal funds matching anyway, so he actually then has plenty of cashon hand). Listen to his statements in past debates and research him abit. He's the most patriotic one onstage.
It is Illegal to exclude any Candidate from the Campaign Process. The Media can not Hoard or Campaign for or against any Candidate unfairly and unequally. Herbert West III/Publisher, Democrat!!!!
