Let Mike Gravel participate in the debate. No one should be excluded, from any political debate, based on money raised. We let Bush steal the last 2 elections. We cannot allow that to happen again, but let's not let this one be bought either. THE PRESIDENCY IS NOT FOR SALE
Every presidential candidate should be given equal opportunity to share their idea's with the public.Mike Gravel should be aloud to speak at the October 30th DNC debate.
Even if Gravel is not a front-runner, why can't he be at the debate to help forward the actual debating? Will he steal too much air time from big-money contenders?
We live in an oligarchy masquerading as a democracy. We need fewer private (mostly corporate) influences and more alternative points of view if the original vision of this country is to survive. Just an opinion.
America has become the ultimate of hypocrites claiming to be free and instead enslaved by corporations, industrial military complexs, central bank and neocon ideologies. The American public needs to wake up. Stop dreaming for once and discover the lies that you have been told and the people who control your life without you even knowing. America is not a democracy it is a capitalist dictatorship preying on the civil liberties of individual. It gives its people the illusion of freedom and manipulates them through acts terror to bend to the needs of the (Neocon) political agenda. At this point in time i am ashamed of my neighbor to the south. Understand this, if anything America has no enemies! Nobody threatens you, nobody hates you, nobody is a terrorist; but those who you put in washington. Stand up for freedom and vote Mike Gravel, Stand up for truth!
Gravel is one of the few candidates in either party to actually challenge the other candidates on stage when they try to misinform or dodge the issues. True democracy eschews the talking points and spin coming from most of the candidates. If NBC won't challenge the frontrunners to speak the truth and talk about the issues, then it's up to Gravel to challenge their dumbing down of the political discourse. Invite him to the debate!P.S. I'm not even a liberal...
Let Gravel be heard NBC! It is obvious discrimination! If you don't fear what Gravel has to say than why hide him in the shadows! Let the people hear Gravel!
if mainstream media controls our democracy... what does that make this? vote for mike gravel or ron paul, the only two guys that arent controlled and full of shit.
the airwaves belong to the people and the people have a right to here from Presidential Candidate Mike Gravel. NBC's criteria is ludicris and insulting! LET MIKE GRAVEL DEBATE!
We need more ideas in this country to be presented to the voting public. Mike Gravel provides those ideas. He is the one that is not a candidate paid for by corporations. His voice is essential to rpovide clarity to the political obfuscation!
I don't see any legitimate reason why Gravel shouldn't attend the debate. He is just as qualified and passionate and truthful (possibly more than others), and there are many people who are behind him. You are doing a disservice to the ones who have not heard him! Let Gravel Speak!!
Senator Gravel has already proved his worthiness of this debate 100 times over. NBC should be ashamed of themselves for their short-sightedness and avarice.
NBC, it appears you are trying to marginalize an anti-war candidate while your parent company benefits from the war. Please prove us wrong and allow Mike Gravel to speak!
