Mike Gravel is the only UNFETTERED candidate I see in this race who represents the best values of the Democratic Party. NBC! YOU should not be deciding who WE, the electorate, should listen to! Let Gravel debate!
If we start arbitrarily deciding which candidates can and cannot be involved in the debates, then our precious democracy is in more serious trouble than I thought...
The voters want to hear ALL of the candidates on the issues. This is a democratic voting system we are suppose to have. They want to vote for the issues, not who has the most money in the bank. I want to see Mike Gravel in the debate and he deserves equal time with the rest of them.
Why do you want to stop discussion of many issues. He is willing to spend the money to join and be there, he would elections before and he has a following. Let him debate.
Mike Gravel offers citizen wha is needed and wanted. ---the power of actual representation that most other candidates are NOT offering. His voice and views should be heard
Having requirements for a Presidential debate seems hypocritical; we don't have monetary requirements to run for office, why should we have them to debate?
Gravel has every right to be there. Just because he isn't rich doesn't mean he should be excluded (which is really what it all comes down to -.-). Gravel
Let Gravel speak. All candidates should have a chance to have their voice and their message heard. Basing his chance in the debate on money and poll numbers, is simply un-American.
If everyone sends $15 or more per person and there's 18,300 donations averaging $15 per person in the next five days, he will meet their stupid requirement. Let's show them! They don't care one bit about a petition. Money's the only thing they see. Also, if you see this comment at the bottom of the screen, please copy the info about 18,300 people giving an average of $15. That = 275K, he's at 450 right now. with federal matching, this gets him to 1 mil.
It is unfortunate for the public and a matter of serious national concern for every citizen of the United States that a national network such as NBC is apparently arbitrarily and capriciously excluding viable Presidential candidates from public debates. Senator Gravel deserves to be extended an invitation to participate in every debate, just like other Democratic candidates. If he is not included in public debates of this nature, and afforded fair consideration as a candidate for the party nomination, perhaps he will consider a third party run next year if this unfortunate de facto censorship continues?
We The People, are waking up and will no longer let the Media decide and manipulate who want for president. LET THIS MAN SPEAK! ( I am a Ron Paul supporter)
It is a crime and a sin to deny Mike Gravel, (the only American democrat)a forum in your alleged deabte. We go through this with Ron Paul all the time. This is proof that there is no difference between the commercial democrats and the commercial republicans. You guys are imposter's. Your not our government at all. You overthrew America and we want her back. You act like our enemies. You are the biggest threat to America and liberty in general.Invite Mike Gravel to attend your alleged debate. If you weren't so crooked like the republicans the truth would not scare you.I am not afraid of the truth. I am afraid of you! Your dangerous. Your a threat to my well being. (democrats and republicans are you).I am supporting Ron Paul for president. I would write the same letter for anyone interested in truth and liberty like Mike Gravel is.Go Mike Gravel!Go Ron Paul!
We must hear from Mike Gravel. The self-fulfilling prophecy of money buying the election is on display by this refusal to let Gravel participate in the debate.
Mike Gravel is right. NBC's decision to suddenly ban him from the upcoming debate was arbitrary. His absence will leave six automatons with only Dennis Kucinich providing a distinct difference of policy.
