Although I don't agree with all of his positions, I respect Gravel more than any of the other democrat candidates, and I don't agree with the arbitrary decision to exclude him from any debates.
Who is NBC to decide whom the American people can hear/consider for president. It doesn't matter if it is Mike Gravel or anyone else, it is a line that should not be crossed.
It is outrageous of you to stifle a real voice of the anti-war movement in the United States, a former US Senator with a record to prove his bonafides.Let us have a real debate and include, and question, ALL the candidates.

This exclusion of Mike Gravel smacks of cowardly censorship. I can't say I'm surprised; the mainstream media is largely populated by moronic talking heads with large brown noses! I'm not saying that NBC and similar corporations are fascists; well, in my OPINION--maybe they are. I intend to boycott any products advertised on NBC and will encourage my colleagues in the NEA and AFT to do the same. If boycotting all the products advertised on NBC is too cumbersome; then we'll organize a specific boycott of one or two items. In short ; THE ONLY GOOD NAZI IS A DEAD NAZI!
Mike Gravel's presence in the NBC debate will make it more interesting and informative for the viewers, as he has the courage to raise issues and challenge the front runners in a way other candidates do not.
Let Gravel speak! There are too many Americans out there who have no idea who Mike Gravel is, and it's unfair favoritism by the media that has a lot to do with it! Gravel 2008!
NBC does not decide who is a presidential candidate. As a major media outlet, it is the coverage provided by outlets such as NBC that exposes people to the politicians they elect. I will boycott NBC if they insist on playing God in the political arena. The average American citizen is sick of the way the major media outlets filter what is and is not news. Get out of your offices, onto the streets, and talk to some of us if you don't believe me. By the way, many people will tune in just to watch Gravel ask the questions the moderator won't. Do you really want to hurt your own ratings because of personal preference?
Mike has had a destinguished career in public service. Myself as a true conservative and a Ron Paul supporter I demand that the DNC and MSNBC allow Mike Gravel a voice in the 10/30 debate
Though I disagree with Mr Gravel on most issues I believe this was done wrong and sets a bad precedent, next time clearly state your requirements well ahead of the election cycle.
