By not letting Gravel in the debate, you are doing this country a grave disservice. Preventing him from attending will make me seriously consider boycotting your network and encouraging my friends to do the same.
NBC should be ashamed of themselves, excluding a former senator with excellent criteria from a candidates debate. Is this GE money or just flat our stupidity?
I support democracy. I realize that he scares GE when he shows Hillary the Hawk's mumblings as lies. Its amazing how GE has more influence in choosing our public servants than the citizens do.
NBC's arbitrary exclusion of Gravel is a disgrace. If this nonsense is not stopped, it will open the door for even greater manipulation of the political process by the media, including complete censorship of ideas and voices that do not represent the media's interest.
NBC's exclusion of Mike Gravel's sincere voice from national debates is outrageous. I will do whatever I can to stop supporting NBC and it's corporate owner and encourage others to do so as well. Shame on you, Chuck Todd!
Is this America or not? Gravel has a lot to bring to the debates. It's time we allowed all candidates the fairness and exposure they derserve. I'd rather watch and listen to Mike Gravel over Chuck Todd of CNBC any day. Gravel is smart and interesting. Let him be in the debates. Let him speak. He has a lot of valuable things to say and the American people have a right to hear.
Gravel's ideas are very important in presidential debates, which tend to pander to public opinion. He changes the debate from the parameters set by our economic institutions, and brings up ideas that are marginalized for fear of losing votes. We need him in, so that the debate isn't so predictable and elitist. So it isn't just a lie.
Gravel has interesting and valuable ideas. they are significantly different from the other candidates and are resonable and pertinent to the problems that face our country, He should NOT be excluded from the democratic event open to the other candidates
NBC is so clearly and intentionally attempting to smother Mike Gravel's campaign. As an American Citizen, I urge NBC to encourage the free flow of democracy and to let Mr. Gravel speak.
Mike Gravel should be allowed to speak at the debates, and run for president. Taking money from corporations shouldn't be a prerequisite for speaking and running for president.
Let the man debate. Let him tear to shreds the lies and arguments that have been repeated thousands of times by the machine, or if not that for f u c k's sake at least let's give the appearance of democracy and let him attend.
Let Mike Gravel Speak! America needs someone like Gravel that is no nonsense about taxation, LGBT rights, and most importantly getting us out of this devastating war.
Mike Gavel is the only true leader in the Democratic Party. He is not afraid to stand up for 4.5 million voters in Florida that have been disenfranchised by the rest. He should be the first one you invite to the debate.
shame on NBC for excluding any candidate from participating in the debates! Mike Gravel has some great ideas, and the American people deserve to hear them!!!
Let him speak. Him opinion needs to be heard reguardless of the regulations you put on him or other speakers. Everyone should have a chace to speak who is running.
Put Mike Gravel into the debate. He and the others with less money have been the most refreshing candidates. Id democracy measured in dollars now? or in votes!
