Mr. Gravel is unique in so many ways: first candidate to declare candidacy, first candidate to march in a gay pride parade, initiated the fillibuster that stopped the draft, on the forefront against nuclear products, oldest candidate running...
It's unfair for the media to sway people's votes, yet again, by refusing to give time to a man that is truly in the election to win. It's another example of how the media sways the citizens of this country to believe that only a select couple of people have a chance to win the nomination, because they refuse to acknowledge legitimate campaigns that don't have the giant corporate support.
Let him be in the debateIf you don't let him be in the debate, you're telling us that because he doesn't have the economic means, he won't make a good president which i completly disagree.
thats messed up that people are willing to censor a man who could be the president of this country, not to mention the person to solve all the problems bush has created. Let him speak!!
Gravel is a highlight of the debates. His voice is different from the other candidates and his solutions are bold and fresh. And one thing this country does NOT need now is censorship of candidates. Please include Senator Gravel in the debate.
SPREAD THE WORD!!!!WE'LL DO IT ON OUR OWN!!!! USE THE INTERNET THAT AL GORE CREATED. In my video GOOD DAY it depicts the life when men and women were tuff not like the wusses we all have become. The people in my video are my family and friends. They were not pretentious or arrogant. I humbly carry on their love.DO something ...everything matters no matter how small..Our REPRESENTATIVES are ROTTEN and you know it.WE HAVE A SAY...Why is the primary starting earlier...?at it again I see....THEY WANT THE FRONT RUNNERS BECAUSE THEY ARE CROOKED!fact. Opportunists.Bankers.Boug ht and sold.Don't throw your hands up.....ELECT MIKE GRAVEL in (YOUR) PRIMARY ELECTION!SPREAD THE WORD!!!!LOVE
It is unconstitutional for a candidate to even have to MEET a financial quota to participate in a debate of free speech. Am I the only one that notices this? GO GRAVEL!!!
Mike Gravel is one of the few candidates beholden to no one. He is not running to do the bidding of private interest groups. This is the reason his massage is so different from Hillbamwards. His outspoken voice is absolutely necessary for any truly democratic public debate.
This is ridiculous. There shouldn't be fundraising requirements for a debate-all candidates deserve a voice. And Gravel will say things everyone needs to hear.
Even though I am a conservative republican... this shows the filthy beaurocracy that has become politics today. He has not met fundraising requirements? Who gives a rats ass. Since when does how much money you have determine how much you know about politics? Let the man speak. What are you afraid of?
Cowards!! You silence Gravel - a man who speaks the truth for a change. Tell me honestly that Chris Dodd or Kucinich have a better chance of winning the Presidency than Mike Gravel.
Mike Gravel will fight not only for the rights of American, but for the rights of all global citizens. America is sharply divided as is the world and we need a true patriot who is willing to stand up for the rights of everyone. Martin Luther King Jr. once said,
politics have no place in a democracy. let Gravel speak. he is the first candidate i have seen speak to the people and directly address the crowds at debates and not dance for the man asking the questions.
Mike Gravel is the only candidate that brings up some important issues in this campaign. Is that too much for G. E. to take. He deservesa place at the debate. There are many like me who want to see him there and will remember who is trying to exclude only him. Let him speak, NBC. You all waste enough time on the air with out saying anything new or useful. Do you wonder why you lose some many viewers?
The debate is meaningless if censored. Exclusion of Mike Gravel just helps more people become aware how fixed the race is.Put him in the debate, and let him speak! Otherwise it is pointless watching, and all of the sponsors are suspect.
Land of equality. Gravel is running for President of this free nation. It would be a travesty if his voice was not heard. Don't let money run your life.
We want to hear former Senator Gravel debate on Oct. 30. America deserves a choice. Let us hear what he has to say. I am most interested in Mike Gravel and Ron Paul. Obama and Hilary are more of the same and if just those two were debating, I wouldn't watch at all.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO SUPPORT MIKE...... HE KEEPS ON BEING EXCLUDED FROM THE DEBATES BECAUSE OF HIS LACK OF MONEY. EACH DOLLAR HE GETS THE LOUDER HIS VOICE IS HEARD. I HAVE DONATED 1000 DOLLARS IF ALL OF YOU CAN GIVE AT LEAST 10-20 THAT WILL HELPTHANK YOU JOSH
Freedom of speech, freedom to campaign and freedom to be heard are the rights of ALL candidates - not only those who raise the most money and get the most media.Surely we deserve a better system of government than this? I believe fair access to all the information from all the candidates will contribute to better government.
Mr. Gravel is one of the only candidates who has not sold out to the special interests and corporate donors. Please include his fresh voice in the debate AND ALLOW HIM FAIR TIME to speak.
Completely ridiculous, just an example of the media helping to maintain the status quo hierarchy of the two party system. If anyone is too out of line and not sanitary enough... they can't debate.
Everyone who supports Gravel knows how badly we need someone like him. VOLUNTEER TO GET HIS NAME OUT! A few donated hours a week is nothing, especially for something as important as this.
Just because Mike Gravel did not raise enough funds (mostly because he doesn't take corrupt money) should not exclude him from being allowed to express his opinions. Whatever happened to democracy in this fine nation?
