Why not let Gravel debate. It seems childish to disqualify a candidate for such trivial reasons. It's almost as if the establishment is scared of something. Does that mean that Gravel is succeeding?

In an age where we need to have a real statesman to clean up the mess of this current fiasco of an administration, NBC should be including EVERYONE THEY CAN. This is a disgrace to our country.
Mike Gravel will get more mileage out of being banned from the debate than he would if he had been invited to make a few 25 second remarks during yet another debate.

What's happening is obscene! The media giants do what they can to see the candidates they favor get pushed through the elections while the people that really deserve to be heard get minimized. All the while, people that take not of this and try to expose the media for what they have become are slandered by being labeled conspiracy theorists! It's ridiculous. Well folks, here's living proof! NBC is acting as if Mike Gravel is just some joe off the street. This is a former state senator who is actually running for office and has worth while information and opinions. Stop trying to minimize candidates because you don't like what they have to say. Let Mike Gravel speak! Hey, here's a thought why not actually ask him some questions while he is there too! I don't mean the obligatory two-25 second responses he has been given in past debates but some real questions and real response time like that given to the so-called front runners.
We democracy-lovers hate it when the media tries to tell us who and what to focus on. Please let the American people view the whole landscape without coming up with guidelines that exclude candidates that haven't sold themselves out for millions of dollars.
Any candidate who has the will and the means to travel to the debate ought to be allowed to speak. Gravel participated in the other debates, is a well known candidate, and he has his supporters who want to hear him speak. Do not exclude Mike Gravel based on the results of unscientific polls and an arbitrary financial threshold. To exclude him reeks of censorship, something that NBC and the DNC should be trying to distance themselves from as supposed bastions of free speech. Show your support for the tenets the Constitution of the United States and the laws of this nation by allowing him to speak on October 30th in Philadelphia!
Let Michael Gravel participate in the debate. It doesn't really matter what NBC wants. It's up to the people, and we as the people have the right to ALL choices available. I'm sick and tired of corporate adgenda running the show. For that very reason that is why this country is in the shiter. I honestly don't care what NBC or General Electric, or any other corporations want. IT'S NOT UP TO THEM! Get the picture yet? I hope so.
