Senator Gravel has certainly earned a place in this debate. He deserves to be heard and it is incredibly undemocratic to exclude him from this important event. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
If Mike Gravel is not allowed to participate in the Oct 30th debate due to lack of donations, I will be outraged! The political system in this country will have definately shown what it's really all about: if you have lots of money you are part of the plutocratic elite. In my opinion, the more money you have should be all the more reason why you should not get elected.
The debates will not be the same without Mike Gravel.He must not be kept from speaking. What next Kucinich? I enjoy listening to all the candidates. I watch all debates, Democratic and Republican. If Chris Mathews is the Moderator again, that is who should be dropped.

To allow criteria that excludes any candidate is a violation of our Democratic process. How can you have the freedom of choice if we are denied access to all of our options?
I'm with you 100%, Vince Parham. I do support Mike Gravel, but my zeal comes from the fact that this could happen to any one of the candidates, and keeping America ignorant and blind to their options is despicable. LET THEM ALL SPEAK!

I should let it be known that I am a Ron Paul supporter. I do, however, believe in equal treatment of candidates on both (all three) sides of the political party spectrum when it comes to televised debates. The reason that I am signing this petition in support of Mike Gravel and in defiance of the exclusionary tactics toward him is that I believe in liberty and freedom and the right to know who wants to represent us Americans in the world, even if I do support a different candidate. If we expect to spread Democracy throughout the world, we need to set an example of fairness and refuse to exclude anyone from the Democratic process. How can we possibly expect to overcome all of the damage that has been done to our country and its reputation in the global community when the mainstream media constantly tries to tell us who we can and cannot support? How can we expect to rise above the near rubble that is our system and reconstruct what has been nearly destroyed by the current administration when all the mainstream media displays is more of the same?
The Presidential debate should not be censored to allow only those politicians with mainstream media agendas. Important questions and issues are brought to the table by all opposing views, and are necessary for a truly informative debate.
