This is ridiculous and should not even be a question whther he should be allowed to debate. As a democratic supporter (not Necessarily for Gravel) would like to see EVERYONE's views.
I fear Gravel is the only hope for national interests to take back precedence from corporate interests, and this is precisely why he is being marginalized by DNC and the coporate media. It looks like a large stunt is necessary for people to look past what the media feeds them, and really listen and use their heads. If people actually notice and listen, I feel they cannot help but approve of policies Gravel stands for. I don't pray, but I yearn in the strongest way possible for Gravel to gain more influence on the national stage. Be strong Mike!!!
Money should no be what wins the presidency. You, NBC are selling the presidency if you do not allow Gravel to speak. It is too early to discount him with the elections being more than 1 year away!I will not be viewing any NBC broadcast or production if Gravel is not permitted to participate in the debate.
Mike Gravel is a viable candidate, with experience, ideas, and knowledge. Basing inclusion in debates on arbitrary criteria is not democratic - the voters must be able to hear all the candidates - Mike Gravel should be included.
Mike Gravel is one of the most interesting and most honest of the Democratic Candidates - he should be allowed to be in the debates. Basing viability as a candidate on arbitrary criteria, including the amount of money raised is absurd and not what our democracy is about!
Mike Gravel should be allowed to speak. Since when has Corporations like Gerneral Electric, NBC and Drexel University taken away our Constitutional right to freedom of Speach?
NBC and DNC, Let Freedom Ring! Mike Gravel is the most exciting candidate. God and our nation are watching you and await your corrected decision. But if you don't let Mike in the debates, hardly anyone will be watching your debate or your
I support Mike Gravel's campaign for the Presidency because he offers clear direction on reestablishing the Republic's checks on rogue government, industrial, religious, and military power and control. Mr. Gravel seeks to meet the complexities of globalization without sacrificing the liberties and constitutional processes that ensure that government acts from the informed consent of the people. Currently, our government acts from the corrupt power that is the foundation of the current administration and its oligarchic allies. None are friends of the Constitution or the Republic for which it stands. They are truly intent on creating a government modeled after the crime families of this world, legitimizing sociopathic behaviors as the norm, to eliminate any form of the true, the good, and the beautiful...the classical basis of all human interaction. In the eyes of corrupt power, all is rationalized as
This is no less than censorship. Let the people decide who is fit to lead our country. Mr. Gravel is one of the very few candidates who really speaks the truth, and the truth is, that's why the mainstream media don't want him included. Enough with your power plays against the American people!
Mike Gravel is a genuine U.S.hero: he was instrumental to ending the Vietnam War. Let him speak! We need his experience and courage, now more than ever.
Please let Senator Gravel to participate in DNC debates. He is raising important issues for peace, democracy and awareness of American people about the international issues and American Foreign Policy. Please be fare and let him participate in debate
Gravel should ABSOLUTELY be INCLUDED IN THIS DEBATE! I can't even believe that he's being shut out because of FUNDRAISING! The almighty dollar - so that's what NBC is all about? They don't care what's best for the people, just about capital? That makes me sick!
It is essential that all the candidates be heard at this point - polls and $$$ have nothing to do with it and are, in fact, affected by a candidate's presence (or absence) at a debate.
DNC: You're losing your control, and so is the RNC. Don't try to hold onto it. Change and try to ride it out. Listening to the electorate's demands cannot be wrong, in the end, although it will require YOU to take a leap of faith.
