I don't feel their should be such silly limitations for speech in a free speech country (supposedly).Look how they blocked Ross Perot and he met the current requirements.
You have to raise a million dollars just to be a debate? How insanelty stupid is that? Why do you have to be rich to run? It just doesn't make any sense! I've started a MySpace page, Gravelians Against Censorship, devoted to fighting the corporate medai blackout of this man. He's the very best candidate and Corporate America is doing their best to keep him a secret. We can't let them win. Our very country depends on it!
i support you ideas alot.. but also Ron Paul has the same ideas and the media is trying their best shut him up. everyone who supports Gravel can also support Ron Paul. either way. i'll vote for my freedom and i'll vote for either one of you.
Mike Gravel is running for president. By keeping him off the air, MSNBC is abusing its power as a news source. Give Gravel a chance to speak to the American people, or keep the American people in the dark about this election.Sincerely,Mary Cooley
This is an outrage to the political system and an obvious suppression of freedom. Allow Mike to speak, don't let those few with all the power make decisions for the rest of us!
Mike Gravel should be allowed to speak and not be discriminated against by the media. He is one of the only ones who speaks the real truth, and the media makes him seem crazy. Remember that real change that have benefitted us have come from those who have sounded the craziest in their time.
A free republic should not be controlled by the selfish interests of corporations. My vote is for Ron Paul but my support is for freedom. You can do it Mike!
Little guys running for President need a chance too! I live in Alaska, whe not on vacation in UK, not a Democrat, but this is so unfair.I know it's too late for my comment but........
Sen. Mike Gravel, who is sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee as an official candidate for president, is being excluded from appearing in upcoming democratic debates by corporations, lobby groups and the corrupt western media, in yet another blatant act of corporate censorship. Mike Gravel is paying the price for speaking truth to power and the corporations and other corrupt puppet politicians and puppet media wants to keep him silent. LET GRAVEL SPEAK, DO NOT EXCLUDE HIM. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY NOT A CORPORATOCRACY
Perhaps the corporate swine at NBC should stop worrying about whom to impress upon us for 2008. Instead, they need to focus on the rapid deterioration of their already sub-par programming
Mike Gravel is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale Democratic debate cycle or should I say recycle; tired questions to and answers by the MSM's front runners.
Absolutely, I support this petition. I decided to watch the NYT video on the 30 October debate and was QUITE disappointed to find that Senator Gravel is not there.
Let Mike Gravel speak or I turn off NBC - period. 200 other political activists will get my email -- and will respond likewise. They, in turn, will let others know --- and NBC looses viewers -- which looses revenues.Let him speak!
nbc only allows warmongers to debate? the one guy other than kucinich who was and is against the war is banned for lack of money? a plutocracy not a democracy.
Here's yet another clear example of how our putrid political, electoral system continues to ignore the outcry of citizens in this Capitalistic, hardly democratic society. Mike Gravel needs to be heard! I have heard him and he makes the most sense! THAT'S WHY THE
Gravel is a strong person who is willing to tell the truth and fight for our constitution, so of course the corporatocracyowned media excludes him. This is wrong and we must support Mike.
I support Gravel and it is my right as an American to hear his stance on the issues and provoke the debate of the other candidates. Let him speak. It is my right.
