Petition to AMC, Regal, IMAX: No more LIEMAX!

To the Management of AMC Theatres and Regal Entertainment:
It has come to our attention that both of your theater chains are currently in the practice of labeling showings of movies on non-IMAX screens, claiming these are IMAX films/theaters and charging your customers accordingly.
As posted by Aziz Ansari of NBC’s new comedy “Parks and Reacreation” on his blog (azisisbored.tumblr.com):
“AMC theaters are running FAKE IMAX's and charging $5 extra for a slightly bigger screen. Boycott IMAX, AMC, and Regal. Don't let them fool you.”

A “LIEMAX” map has been started here to alert customers which theaters are participating in this practice:

We are outraged that you would stoop to so baldly deceiving and cheating your customers in this way.
We insist that you halt this practice immediately if you want us to continue our patronage of your establishments.
