We, the students of MA Counseling Track D1, hereby request that Linda Anderson be permitted to attend our Saturday Jungian Depth Psychology Class (CP-505), and to participate in the class insofar as it assures continuity and cohesion with the group (i.e., participating in group activities and presentations that enhance our knowledge and understanding of one-another, such as the Archetype Oral Presentation), while abstaining from work which would add workload (cost) to the instructor. We would also like to open discussions for Linda to be able do this with any other classes throughout our program.

Thank you for your consideration of our Petition.

The community aspect of Pacifica is a very important part of the experience. I feel that Linda missed a huge part of the bonding experience with our group by missing out on the archetype presentation. I know that she was very disappointed by not being able to participate and bond with the group and know that many people noted and missed her presence there - including me. As long as her presence does not add extra work for the instructors or cost Pacifica extra money, and she is willing to take the time to be there, I think she should be allowed to attend. Where I teach, students who have taken a class before can volunteer to be a Teaching Assistant to help with any mundane tasks that need to be done...perhaps this might give an additional incentive to allow her into the class?

I offer the following creative, open-ended question to Pacifica: How might we be able to include Linda in all of our classes and maintain our group cohesion while also preserving the business integrity of Pacifica? To me, the idea of her being in the class without the instructor needing to spend time and energy processing/grading her work--is an integrated solution.

I believe learning and growth at Pacifica in this program integrates our experience of each other, therefore I would like to see Linda be able to attend the Jungian class with us. The void that is left by the absence of any one soul is heavily felt by the whole. Respectfully, Vivian

Absolutely! Linda must be included for a sound cohesive group with a strong container.

I feel that Linda is a vital part of our container that we have all created. Therefore, I think that Linda should be allowed to sit in the class and experience our journey as a group. There is no reason to isolate her due to buerocratic reasons.

Yes, I would like to see Linda in the Jung class. Without her I feel like there's a leak in the container that we're trying to build.

I'd like to think that our objective in life is to support the process of enlightenmet for the individual and the group. With that in mind I would hope that Paciifca can be yielding in their "rules" and allow for Linda's presence in our Jungian Psychology course. This will be of benefit to her, and to the group. Namaste!

I found myself looking for Linda Saturday and was confused when I didn't see her. This explains it. She is part of the group and it doesn't feel right to exclude her. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Of course, Linda should be allowed to be in the class, especially if she chooses to despite not needing the credits. I would like to know the rationale for not allowing her to be there.

Attending Pat's class for Linda, even if abstaining from coursework, will require a huge emotional commitment and time investment. If Linda is willing to offer that, PGI should graciously accept it.

Pat's class is a very intimate time for our group where we share our dreams and our process with our archetypes. I want Linda to be a part of that. It doesn't feel right to have her left out and if she is willing to come she should be allowed to. At other schools you can audit classes as many times as you like.
