yeah. so. i think that disliking someone just because of what sport (yes, cheering is a sport) is completely retarded. you say we are bitchy, yet you are the one calling us out just because you may have had a bad experience or two with some cheerleaders. i am a cheerleader (if i have not made tha obvious yet..) but that does not define who i am. im not dumb. im a freshman and taking college classes and passing them all with A's. im dating the most amazing guy.. and hes in band. i was going to play drums in my school's bad as well. im also a skater.. yes. a cheerleader that skates. no.. im not a poser. i go to concerts. i love screamo. i wear clown makeup. i go to church regularly (not saying im perfect. haha.. not close) but.. i love god. so.. im bitchy? yeahh.. haha. steriotipical. (hm.. i spelled that wrong..) it is expected though.. you have a cheerleader.. and you get someone who has had bad experiences with them and accuses them all of being the same. so.. now. do you hate cheerleaders? or do you hate a few select people who just happen to be cheerleaders? i think people do put the bitch title on cheerleaders because some are bitches.. but they are more of a seen figure in a school. so i assure you.. there are bitchier poeple.. but you may not notice because you do not see them as often as you do cheerleaders. so anyways.. im not really trying to argue.. or convince you otherwise.. im only trying to support myself and my friends.

i think this is crap. you have your right to your opinions, but after reading your comments, most of you think of cheerleaders in stereotypes. we work hard and practice and compete. we do more than just stand around and cheer, we lift people and sweat and work for the titles we earn. and whoever made this petition is stupid, because fourth grade cheering is different than high school, college, or all star cheering. give us a little more respect, we deserve it.

First off, let me say that most cheerleaders anymore are female and they have sometimes cute smiles and great bodies, including their often ample legs and thighs. Now let me state this: while that's nice and all, I think cheerleaders are just about the cockiest, most arrogant, selfish, stuck-up,snobbish, nasty-acting, hateful creatures on the campus, if not the NFL or the planet. Whenever I see those somewhat silly cheerleader comps on the TV, they act nice and all, but I hardly ever believe it. Behind the scenes they're more likely a bunch of heartless bitches. I remember having a stupid, sucky day at high school(all too common for me), a bunch of lousy a-holes were giving me a hard time about something, and I fought back. I stepped into a room for class, and wouldn't you know it? A snotty little cheerleader starts flapping her big mouth at me about " me cussing" and other BS. I wished me or someone else had backhanded her right there. At one of my ex-jobs, I was good friends with someone who was a cheerleader from the eighth grade all through high school. She admitted to me that being one didn't seem to help her grades too much. I'm not necessarily saying that cheerleaders are stupid, but it could get in the way of everything else before they know it. I know my ass is probably gonna get hammered for all this, but I really don't care. It had to be said. There are too many young women who are already major beeyotches, and cheerleading only seems to amplify this. Spirit or no spirit, ladies, you just better watch yourselves. Get it? Got it? GOOD!!!
