I've sent a letter to State Senator Mullis about 2 to 3 years ago about the Parade of Quartets being included in the Hall of Fame as well and conversed with the late Hon. Henry Howard's son Wayne about it on occassion. Never heard anything. With James Brown, The Parade of Quartets, Oprea's Jessye Norman, Country music's Terri Gibbs, Jazz music's Wycliffe Gordon and others, its an obsurd omittance (intentional or unintentional) that Augusta is not part of this after it birthed these musical geniuses!!!!
#67

John Bennett said 03/24/07, 2:46 pm (verified)
This would be a no-brainer if only for James Brown; given Augusta's rich musical tradition, it is a HUGE omission not to be included. It's about the music, not about the marketing, fix it NOW!
