I bought the PS at launch, the PS2 at launch, as well as the Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox and Wii at launch. I really want to get a PS3 but it's very tough to justify. The cost for me has to factor in extra controllers and games and tax. As it stands now, I'm looking at about a $1000. That's hard to call disposable cash. Please lower the price! Thanks.
I think sony should lower the price of the ps3 as well that's why I'm added my signature to this list because let's be honest not everybody has $600 dollars laying around or in their pockets and in my opinion I don't think we should have to pay that most for a gaming console.

With a $600 price tag people will look at the 360 and wii and it's more affordable. The only reason why sony is behind is because of the $600 price tag. If the PS3 wre cheaper then a lot more gamers would be happy and more than likely buy it
Jesus, what do you think, we are all loaded? Maybe some of us don't have that much money, but we still wanna play PS3... you are only exluding your fanbase and making people turn away from the sony name. hurry up and figure things out b4 its too late....
Really if Sony reduces PS3 price,they won't lose much,in fact millions of people from all around the world are waiting for the price reduction,so Sony will gain more profit this way.
I think the PS3 is great and would most certainly love to see a price drop, it would seriously turn up the heat on the competitors and would undoubtedly boost sales. I am still holding out for one, but am waiting for the price to drop, if a price drop occured i would buy a PS3.
The only way my freinds and I can afford the PS3 without making any sort of sacrafices is to wait for the prices to drop. This would really help. I mean REALLY.
I think that the PS3, even though is a bargain, could be reduced in price, in at least Europe (UK) since we pay most and are paying well more than America even! I think £50 - £100 off would be better and even though its still above the US cost, would push a LOT more systems!
no u dont need to lower the price of ps3 ,its ridiciolous ,with so many feautres in it it is a suicide to lower the price coz its not just a console its a home theater, thing.
