Lyme Disease is the fastest growing pandemic in the US. The causative agent, a spirochete bacterium called Borrelia, is known to be transmitted by ticks and has been found mosquitoes and horseflies. The CDC and NIH funds millions of dollars into researching what the US government has classified as a potential biowarfare agent, but on the other hand claims it is easy to detect and treat.

In fact, the testing for infection and illness due to this microbe is not accurate or helpful in many cases. The classic bullseye rash (EM) is only present in less that 50% of cases, and the majority of people do not remember getting bitten by a tick.

In it\'s chronic state, Lyme disease effects the neurological system and can cause physciatric illness. This was well know in publications prior to the Dearborn conference in the 1980\'s. Why is it ignored now? We want to know the Truth behind Lyme Disease. Why does the IDSA continue to promote inaccurate science and non-effective treatments in the face of new studies that show that infection persists and causes a range of symptoms? One might wonder ifthis is due to potential profits to be realized if a Lyme vaccine can be brought to market, or if something more sinister is being hidden from the public.
