Make Election Day a National Holiday

Many of us recently observed the obscenely long lines to vote in many key battleground states. Some would say this was part of a voter suppression effort, in primarily minority precincts, as many working-class people can not afford to take time off from work to exercise their most basic right, The Right To Vote.
Help make Election Day a National Holiday.
(This national holiday would only be observed in even-numbered years).
