I would think someone fact checks things before you spout them. But I see that isn't happening. You just continue to lie and distort things at will. You should be ashamed.
Even more abhorrent than being completely wrong in his assertions, O'Reilly's "scrubbing" of the transcripts is beyond the pale.
How can a news organization, even one as slanted as Fox, justify editing what is supposed to be a factual record of events?

Mr. O'Reilly my father fought at the Battle of the Bulge and marched through Malmedy durning the fight. He told me that everyone who fought in that battle knew what the Nazis had massacred GIs at Malmedy and knew what it meant if they were captured during the fight. Needless to say they had extra incentive to crush the enemy after Malmedy. My father also always said that the men that were murdered were real heroes. How dare you desecrate the memory of these men by turning they from victims to war criminals. You are beneath contempt and if you have any soul and the smallest bit of respect for our troops you will apologize to those men who fell, their families and U.S. Military for your pack of lies. I doubt you will, being the coward you are, but remember your father was a WWII veteran and you dihonored him with your statemant as well.
It was the Germans who massacred unarmed U.S. prisoners at Malmedy. Bill O'Reilly's appalling inversion of historical fact -- for the SECOND TIME -- leaves me wondering what his motives are. If there is no ulterior motive, if he's just this incompetent, why do you continue to put him a position to speak as if he knows what he's talking about>
Of course, O'Reilly "knows" young people on the Internet don't know from the news - or whatever fascistic bogus Fux-sponsored version HE reads...!

I also support the relatives of those slain American soldiers in Malmedy's impending lawsuit for defamation of character. Being a complete moron is NOT a defense. O'Reilly and FOX should be sued. I hope it comes swift, is very public and VERY painful.
