i think manhunt 2 shouldnt be banned because parents always complain about violence on games when they let there children on the internet and you can even find pron searching for the simpsons
Why should everyone be stopped from playing this game just because kids shouldnt be? It's the parents responsibility to censor such things from children.
If i can freely walk into a Bestbuy and buy a Movie like Evil Dead then i better beable to buy a ADULT Game made for ADULTS. I am an Adult(21) and i know what i should beable to buy/play and what my future kids shouldn't beable to...Stop trying to control our lives and let us choose for ourselves.
Manhunt 2 is an adult game and it should be given a rating that reflects its content. To ban the game is to tell an adult that the game is not suitable for them. Adults have the right to decide for themselves what media they consume. This ban destroys our freedom of choice, the developer’s freedom of expression and promotes censorship.

The gaming community is not only children! I understand banning the PS2 version but Nintendo worked hard to bring Parental Control option to the Wii! This game should be out for the Wii since parents can make the Wii not play AO games. Its that simple!
Take DVD films with snuff themes off the shelves first, which are usually sold with full intentions of shocking people, but get good reviews for how badly. So this just doesn't make sense especially when games can't be confused with real life - at least as easily as a film. Besides that, people have freedom of choice, and I doubt anybody is going to accidentally buy this game.
The problem here is that the sole parties to blame here aren't being blamed.Sony and Nintendo not allowing games rated AO to not be on their system is upsurd.This event just makes me feel angry, confused, and disappointed.It just shows how young our industry is.There will come a time when these games will be allowed on consoles, it's just a matter of how long its gonna take for our industry to evolve like that of other mediums.
We as adults shouldn't be subject to censorship in a medium such as video games. It is entirely our own choice as responsible adults to purchase a violent game such as Manhunt 2. Many of us wish to experience Manhunt 2 in it's original vision, uncensored. An uncut AO version should be released for direct sale to the consumers, while a toned down version hopefully rated M can be released to the general public.
even if they ban it...T2 will be making billions and if they dont ban it..they still will be selling millions...but i dont see why they need to ban..just cause its vilent and has P**N..the world is exacly like that..its full of people killing people and people having sex and nudity...so whats the problem?

I don't think this is right at all. We as consumers have a choice. We have a choice to let our kids play the game and we have a choice to not let them play it. What if I want to enjoy this game? I may be unable to because of this. I am thoroughly ticked off at this right now.Instead of banning a game, why not just take more precautions to keep the game away from minors?
This country was founded on freedom,this goes against everything this country was founded on,rockstar has a right to express its creativity,please,ESRB,So ny,Nintendo,let them release it on the consoles with the AO rating.The adult consumers have the right to make the choice whether or not they want to buy the game
